My Physical Exercise Program

Physical exercise is good for you. I know that. I should do it daily, but my body doesn't want me to do too much, so I have worked out this program of strenuous activities that do not require physical exercise.
You are invited to use my program without charge.
01) Beating around the bush 02) Jumping to conclusions 03) Climbing the walls 04) Swallowing my pride 05) Passing the buck 06) Throwing my weight around 07) Dragging my heels 08) Pushing my luck 09) Making mountains out of molehills 10) Hitting the nail on the head 11) Wading through paperwork 12) Bending over backwards 13) Jumping on the bandwagon 14) Balancing the books 15) Running around in circles 16) Eating crow 17) Tooting my own horn 18) Climbing the ladder of success 19) Pulling out the stops 20) Adding fuel to the fire 21) Opening a can of worms 22) Putting my foot in my mouth 23) Starting the ball rolling 24) Going over the edge 25) Picking up the pieces
Whew! What a workout! I think I'll exercise my caution now, and sit down.

Today'Thought

To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world
Pain is inevitable, but misery is optional.
Character is a victor, not a gift.
Flexibility is the key to indecision
When life hands you lemons, make lemonade..... then find someone who's life gave them vodka and throw a party. I never make mistakes. I thought I did once, but I was wrong.
I love deadlines” “I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by
Every day is a good day…..some are just better than others
If it is not lost.... where is it? It's easier to get older than it is to get wiser All reports are in..... Life is now officially unfair.
Funny.... I don't remember being absent minded
I finally got my head together.... now my body is falling apart..... When did my wild oats turn to prunes and All Bran..... I Started out with nothing.... and I still have most of it....

Bless This House

Bless this house, o Lord, we pray.Make it safe by night and day.Bless these walls so firm and stout,Keeping want and trouble out.Bless the roof and chimney tall,Let thy peace lie over all.Bless the doors that they may proveEver open to joy and love.Bless the windows shining bright,Letting in God's heavenly light.Bless the hearth a-blazing there,With smoke ascending like a prayer.Bless the people here within...Keep them pure and free from sin.Bless us all, that one day, weMay be fit, O lord, to dwell with Thee.

Mr Nobody

I know a funny little man,As quit as a mouse,Who does the mischief that is doneIn everybody's house! There's no one ever sees his face,And yet we all agreeThat every plate we break was crackedBy Mr. Nobody`Tis he who always tears our books,Who leaves the door ajar,He pulls the buttons from our shirts,And scatters pine afar; That squeaking door will always squeak,For, prithee, don't you see,We leave the oiling to be done By Mr. NobodyThe finger marked upon the doorBy none of us are made;We never leave the blind unclosed,To let the curtains fade. The ink we never spill; the boots That lying round you. See Are not our boots they all belongTo Mr. Nobody. He stole all my spoons and hides my glasses,my car keys can not be found.and were on were is that candy I just bought Mr Noboby stricke again

winter cold

"In winter's cold and sparkling snow, The garden in my mind does grow. I look outside to blinding white, And see my tulips blooming bright. And over there a sweet carnation, Softly scents my imagination. On this cold and freezing day, The Russian sage does gently sway, And miniature roses perfume the air, I can see them blooming there. Though days are short, my vision's clear. And through the snow, the buds appear. In my mind, clematis climbs, And morning glories do entwine. Woodland phlox and scarlet pinks, Replace the frost, if I just blink. My inner eye sees past the snow. And in my mind, my garden grows."
